THE TANK OF KANAYI

Actually the Tank of kanayi has a past  history. Recently I visited the place which is in between payangadi and payyanur. At present the surrounding land  near the tank has been changed into a Resort which was once the ancestral home of Vengayil Kunhiraman Nayanar who was a Barrister, journalist, Essay writer, Critic and Short story writer.  Only a well and the Tank (kulam) remains as monument. Nearby there is a vast paddy field which extends to the horizon. And the Aracnut palms surrounding the tank creates in me a unrealistic vision which is depicted here.

CERTAIN REALITIES

Sometimes certain visuals before us may appear unreal. The people in front of us in the real life may appear like ghosts.   One of my  rare experiences is to see the people in their skeletal form...may be some links with the happenings going on in our society........

THE EVOLUTION

He evolves from nature with the hardness of rock, softness of water,  flow of air, intensity of fire and  clarity of light.

ROAD THRO THE SCRIPTLAND

The haunting visuals of the vast paddy fields  in my child hood had a lasting impression .  Instead of paddy,  I sowed  the seeds of hundreds of thousands of various languages all over the earth.  The sowing is still in progress  and the process of the painting  is still continuing.... see some of the details which may change during the process.

SAND DUNES OF KANHANGAD

The rawmaterials behind this painting is the experiences with the life of people in the tobacco fields and the landscapes stretched along side the arabian sea in Kanhangad , Kasaragod district of Kerala. Happened during an Art Camp at Padannakadu.
