All these black and white paintings were created during my lonely search for self expression. The subject of most of the works in water colour is connected with bygone days. ie; from the memories of the village life in my childhood. The method of painting is also different. Creating layers of painting, washing and repainting finally look like a black and white photograph, but having the qualities of a water colour painting. During that time experimentation was my hobby. I was more concerned about the process than with the class of painting whether it is realistic or abstract.
